Job Description

IT Audit Manager leading global Cybersecurity, SAP, and technology-risk audits for Hitachi Energy. Strengthening controls, assessing risks, and advising stakeholders across worldwide operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake global, strategically complex IT, Cybersecurity, and SAP audits
  • Contribute to integrated and specialist audits
  • Support ongoing improvement initiatives and champion technology risk and governance
  • Establish trusted relationships with stakeholders across the organization
  • Coach and provide constructive challenge and technical guidance to colleagues
  • Participate in special reviews and assignments initiated by Top Management
  • Develop new or amended IT, Cybersecurity, and SAP audit processes and innovative review methods
  • Develop and maintain the IT/Cybersecurity audit universe and risk control matrix
  • Lead IT, Cybersecurity, and SAP audits, special-request audits, advisory engagements, process reviews, and follow-up audits
  • Conduct global IT and Cybersecurity risk assessments and provide input to the audit plan
  • Collaborate with IT, Cybersecurity, SAP, internal audit, ERM, and internal control teams
  • Develop engagement-specific audit plans and planning documentation
  • Manage all phases of internal audit engagements, coordinating with functional management and outsourced audit personnel
  • Partner with business process owners to strengthen controls and increase efficiency
  • Support compliance efforts, including technical knowledge support and control testing

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in external/internal IT audit
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technologies, Business Administration, Finance, Management, or Engineering
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • CISM, CISSP, CRISC, or CIA considered a plus
  • Knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, NIST, ISO/IEC 27000, and EU AI Act
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Information Technology, IT Security, Cybersecurity, AI, and internal audit standards and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of technology risks and controls
  • Ability to use data, analytics, and Artificial Intelligence to support audit outcomes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working effectively across global teams and managing competing priorities
  • Ability to travel globally (30%) to perform or manage audits
  • Must comply with applicable work-from-home policies
