Job Description
Junior Accountant supporting daily bank reconciliations and monthly close activities for EMEA finance team. Contributing to financial controls and ad hoc projects in a remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily bank reconciliations across multiple EMEA accounts, including transactions from processors, internal systems, and bank accounts
- Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure accurate recording of cash balances
- Execute monthly close activities, including reconciliations, reporting, and system uploads across EMEA
- Assist with financial controls and internal reporting to support compliance and transparency, including SOX requirements
- Contribute to ad hoc projects such as supporting EMEA audit requests, performing financial clean-ups, preparing external reports, and assisting finance team members as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role
- Background in Accounting or Finance (CPA or equivalent experience preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reconciliations, data management, and reporting
- Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, SAP, or similar tools is a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with care
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
