Job Description
Join the budgets and supplies team at Método Grupo in a role focused on analyzing project finances. Requires expertise in civil engineering or architecture fields.
Responsibilities:
- Record invitations to participate in competitive bidding processes in a database, ensuring traceability and a complete history of each proposal in an electronic system;
- Organize, print and compile invitation documents, assemble the technical dossier and forward it, together with the pricing spreadsheet, for coordination review and validation;
- Formally confirm receipt via email of all information and documents submitted by suppliers and clients;
- Prepare commercial and technical proposals in accordance with tender documentation, ensuring complete submission of the documentation required by each client;
- Issue standard letters to request extensions for proposal submission deadlines and/or to decline invitations, when necessary;
- Perform quantity takeoffs from architectural and complementary engineering drawings (structural, electrical, plumbing/hydraulic, among others);
- Conduct critical project analysis, identifying risks, discrepancies, scope deviations and potential impacts on costs and schedules;
- Support the preparation, review and validation of estimates/budgets, ensuring technical, financial and contractual compliance;
- Act as an interface with Project, Planning and Construction teams to align and clarify technical information;
- Use BIM tools, with an emphasis on Revit, to extract, verify and validate quantities;
- Provide occasional support to the Construction team, participating in technical site inspections when requested.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related fields;
- Proven experience in quantity takeoffs and construction estimating;
- Experience reading and interpreting architectural and complementary engineering drawings;
- Ability to perform critical project analysis with a field-oriented perspective;
- Knowledge of Revit to support quantity takeoffs.
- Differentials:
- Practical construction site experience;
- Experience in project coordination/compatibility of drawings;
- Experience applying BIM methodology to cost estimating.
