Job Description
Junior Immigration Lawyer handling German immigration procedures for relokate’s legaltech partner network. Advising clients, reviewing applications, and coordinating with authorities remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Step in when global mobility experts require certified legal advice or escalation of a case
- Independently take over and handle full immigration procedures, including naturalization, permanent residency, EU Blue Card, D-Visa, family reunification, and other visa, residence, or work permit applications
- Provide direct client support on case-specific legal questions and documentation
- Handle communication and correspondence with immigration authorities
- Proactively escalate cases when authorities do not respond within required standards
- Review and validate applications and supporting documents for compliance with German immigration law
- Work alongside the AI-based platform that automates routine tasks and prepares files for expert review
- Collaborate with global mobility and relocation specialists to ensure a smooth client journey
Requirements:
- Qualified Lawyer (Immigration Law)
- Certified or formally eligible to provide immigration legal services in Germany
- 1–3 years of first professional experience in immigration, administrative, or labor law
- Excellent command of German and English, written and spoken
- Independent, reliable, and motivated to build experience in immigration law
- Curious about legaltech and open to working with AI-driven tools
- Availability and maximum capacity of hours per week must be provided
