Job Description
Junior Einkaufscontroller in Germany focusing on procurement data analysis and supplier performance. Collaborating across finance and procurement teams to optimize purchasing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Creation and further development of procurement reports, dashboards and KPI systems to steer procurement
- Analysis of procurement data (e.g., price trends, savings potential, supplier performance) to derive actionable recommendations
- Support in preparing procurement negotiations through data analyses and scenario calculations
- Monitoring compliance with procurement policies and supporting the implementation of, for example, 'no PO – no pay' and other compliance requirements
- Participation in projects to optimize procurement processes and drive digital transformation (e.g., Coupa, BI systems)
- Close collaboration with Finance, Strategic Procurement and Operational Procurement
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable field — ideally with a focus on Controlling, Finance or Supply Chain, or an equivalent vocational qualification
- Initial practical experience in controlling (e.g., internships, working student positions or first professional experience); initial practical experience in procurement is an advantage but not required
- Analytical mindset and strong affinity for numbers
- Confident user of MS Excel; knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau); knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Coupa) is a plus but not required
- Structured, process-oriented working style with team spirit and a cross-functional perspective
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
