Job Description
Junior System Administrator maintaining IT infrastructure for US Urology Partners. Collaborating with senior team members on installation, configuration, and support of systems and networks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, software, and hardware
- Provide support for network systems including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
- Monitor system performance to ensure availability and reliability
- Assist in the maintenance of backups, recovery plans, and security protocols
- Assist service desk team members with user issue escalations related to hardware, software, and network problems
- Assist with software and hardware updates, patches, and configuration changes
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and system operations
- Update user guides and technical documentation for company systems
- Help implement security measures including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and industry regulations
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and collaborative troubleshooting efforts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server) are a plus
- 2 years (minimum) of experience in a similar IT Infrastructure or support role
- Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, and system security
- Familiarity with Office 365 & Entra system administration tools and technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of network protocols and firewall management
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong desire to learn and grow.
