Job Description

Lead procurement and delivery engineering for Westinghouse’s nuclear cranes and fuel-handling equipment. Managing suppliers, schedules, quality, costs, and junior engineer development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior technical and execution leadership for Cranes and Fuel Handling Equipment procurement and delivery activities
  • Drive complex procurement execution across design, pre-PO planning, PO placement, post-PO oversight, delivery, and customer turnover
  • Lead supplier engagement, qualification, capacity assessments, and resolution of technical, commercial, and schedule challenges
  • Develop integrated schedules and manage risks, opportunities, costs, performance, and financial and schedule milestones
  • Interface with Supply Chain, Design, Quality, Projects, and external suppliers
  • Create RFQ packages and coordinate technical, quality, document-submittal, and witness/hold-point requirements
  • Review supplier design proposals, compliance matrices, submittals, and manufacturing/process plans
  • Develop supplier oversight labor plans and manage supplier QA witness and hold points
  • Lead supplier kickoffs, scheduled meetings, project support execution, PO changes, project schedule updates, and customer status updates
  • Recruit, onboard, train, mentor, and manage junior Delivery Stream Engineers and interns
  • Serve as the WBS 6 commodities and supply chain delivery stream processes Subject Matter Expert
  • Support organizational strategy development and implementation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Power Generation or Nuclear Industries
  • Manufacturing and supply chain experience
  • Proficiency with SAP
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Copilot, and Teams
  • Willingness to travel for supplier development, oversight, and emergent project issues
  • Ability to meet United States and applicable country export control requirements
