Job Description
Legal Counsel handling international contracts and agreements for a telecommunications company. Requires expertise in contract law and negotiation skills in both German and English.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating international contracts and offers (German & English)
- Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and legal requirements
- Communicating and negotiating with international suppliers and customers
- Soliciting and evaluating quotations and taking responsibility for purchasing
- Developing and optimizing procurement and contracting processes
- Monitoring existing contracts, including deadlines and milestones
- Conducting risk analyses and identifying potential cost savings
- Performing legal research
- Supporting the defense or enforcement of claims (receivables)
- Collaborating with international partners, particularly in the Asian region
- Providing legal support on contract law and general terms and conditions (T&Cs)
Requirements:
- Completed degree (Bachelor's or Master's)
- Experience in international contracting, procurement or logistics
- Very good German and English skills (written and spoken)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Structured and solution-oriented working style
- Analytical thinking and a high degree of personal responsibility
- Knowledge of general terms and conditions law (T&Cs) or contract law
- At least 3 years' professional experience in a relevant field
