Job Description

Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing GI-focused behavioral services to adult patients at Oshi Health. Delivering evidence-based therapy within a remote multidisciplinary digestive-health team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide GI-focused behavioral services to adult GI patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care providers, including MDs and Dietitians, in a digital integrated healthcare environment
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, relaxation strategies, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, psychoeducation, and gut-directed hypnotherapy
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments and implement concrete goals related to clients’ GI conditions
  • Initiate and maintain health records and encounters in the electronic health record
  • Follow company clinical protocols and related manuals
  • Participate in professional training activities to maintain licensure and advance knowledge
  • Participate in clinical coordination meetings with care team members
  • Contribute to psychological best practices and provide professional feedback to improve member experiences

Requirements:

  • Must live within New York State
  • Must hold NY LCSW Licensure
  • Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or another relevant field
  • Active license to practice therapy in good standing
  • 3+ years of relevant experience delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, teaching relaxation strategies that impact the brain-gut connection, and Motivational Interviewing
  • Ability to work alongside and communicate effectively with MDs, Nurse Practitioners, Health Coaches, and Registered Dietitians
  • Comfort and competence using common administrative technologies such as Zoom, Slack, Office, and Google Drive or equivalent
  • Electronic charting experience
  • Telehealth platform experience preferred
  • GI-focused care experience is a plus, not essential
