Job Description
LNP Provisioning Specialist managing voice-service orders and local number porting for Hotwire telecommunications. Coordinating customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure compliant, timely service activation and continuity.
Responsibilities:
- Process, provision, and track voice service orders from initiation through completion
- Coordinate local number porting (LNP), including port-in and port-out requests
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to monitor progress and resolve issues
- Respond to regulatory or legal requests associated with customer services
- Track critical dates, system notes, and workflow updates
- Use vendor-supported provisioning platforms and internal systems
- Operate voice processing services and assist with troubleshooting
- Coordinate LNP projects and seamless port transitions
- Provision new voice services and modify existing customer services
- Maintain tracking records, logs, and provisioning and porting documentation
- Prepare complete order packets and workflow materials
- Escalate priority issues to meet project timelines
- Serve as a subject matter expert on LNP processes and voice provisioning
- Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements:
- Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of VoIP technologies and terminology
- Experience with LNP processes, number porting procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with VoIP devices and equipment, including ATA, eMTA, ONT, Adit, and ADTRAN
- Industry-related experience preferred
- Understanding of basic billing concepts
- Ability to manage, track, and maintain databases and workflow tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
