Job Description

Manager for Government Program Compliance at HCSC evaluating Medicare and Medicaid regulations, ensuring operational compliance and managing risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating Government Program (Medicare and Medicaid) regulations and contracts
  • Managing direct reports and providing oversight of operational compliance
  • Developing policies, conducting monitoring, managing risk
  • Acting as a liaison with regulatory agencies to prevent legal penalties
  • Identifying risks and developing remediation strategies
  • Working with Corporate Compliance and business personnel
  • Providing compliance consultation and guidance to business owners

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Five (5) years’ experience in healthcare compliance
  • Nine (9) years’ experience in health plan, regulatory compliance or risk management
  • One year of leadership/supervisory experience
  • Strong critical thinking, risk assessment and mitigation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence processes to achieve results
  • Organizational, project management, analytical and decision-making skills
  • PC proficiency to include MS Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel as well as Workday
