Job Description
Paid Growth expert designing and evaluating simulated acquisition tasks for Mercor’s AI training environments. Diagnosing campaigns, budgets, funnels, and journeys using Google Ads, Meta Ads, and GA4 expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Design task briefs based on real paid acquisition work
- Define what each task tests, including planted issues and the decisions strong practitioners should make
- Specify required documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states for realistic tasks
- Write or review reference answers and criteria distinguishing strong responses from plausible-but-wrong ones
- Review AI agent attempts and evaluate them against expert standards
- Create and pressure-test Paid Growth environments
- Work across campaign diagnosis, budget allocation, funnel and pipeline diagnosis, lead recovery, account-based marketing, and web and pricing journey optimization
- Evaluate capabilities including diagnosis, prioritization, tradeoffs, planning, execution, QA, reconciliation, triage, escalation, research, evaluation, reporting, and multi-tool orchestration
- Collaborate with AI labs, enterprises, and leading researchers on training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- Hands-on practitioner experience running paid acquisition
- Owned paid acquisition budgets and results
- Fluency in Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Google Analytics 4
- Prior experience building AI training environments, RL environments, or simulated case studies strongly preferred
- Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification strongly preferred
- Clear written reasoning
- Completion of a short multiple-choice knowledge screener specific to the sub-domain
- Must be engaged as an independent contractor
- Unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time
