Job Description

Medical Call Center Representative providing personalized seamless service to pediatric health system callers. Answering inquiries, prioritizing complex situations, and collaborating effectively with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • answering telephone calls
  • providing personalized seamless service to health care provider clientele and parent/patient callers
  • responding to inquiries with knowledge of client services and programs
  • prioritizing complex and emergent situations

Requirements:

  • One to three years of customer service work, preferably telephone-based.
  • Strong basic computer skills and keyboarding skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Demonstrates a pleasant telephone voice and helpful manner.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision; while understanding role as a part of a team.
  • Excellent problem solving and follow up skills.
  • Understanding of basic medical terminology helpful.
