Job Description
Medical Virtual Assistant (RN) preparing compliant patient records and supporting physician workflows. Neolytix provides consulting and management services to U.S. healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble medical record documentation and charts for physicians
- Ensure medical record compliance through self-documentation attestation
- Update patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information
- Prepare and send documentation to physicians for review and approval through detailed data entry and facility-specific procedures
- Monitor the duration of basic lab results and screening procedures
- Comply with hospital and medical facility policies, including HIPAA and Joint Commission requirements
- Perform clerical duties and tasks to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow
- Assess, review, and apply relevant criteria
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse or BSN graduate
- At least 1 year of experience working as a Virtual Medical Assistant or in a BPO handling a healthcare account
- Personal laptop or desktop available for remote work
- At least an Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor
- At least 8GB RAM
- Ability to work evenings
- Amenable to work on a nightshift schedule
- Understanding necessary to assess, review and apply criteria
- Compliance with HIPAA and Joint Commission policies
- Medical record documentation and data-entry proficiency
