Job Description

Mid-level SEO & Content Specialist executing SEO-optimized content for clients at Purple Sales Solutions. Join our high-performance digital marketing team in South Africa since 2017.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement weekly SEO blogs, case studies, and pages for our clients with zero missed deadlines
  • Lead keyword research for each piece of content and shape ongoing keyword strategy with the team
  • Apply technical SEO, on-page SEO, schema, and use SEO plug-ins for reference (Yoast, Rank Math)
  • Run, interpret, and fix site audits
  • Manage indexation, crawlability, Core Web Vitals, and page speed
  • Stay on top of cannibalization across client sites and resolve it before it costs rankings
  • Run constant competitor analysis to spot ranking gaps and content opportunities
  • Execute local SEO for geo-targeted clients (location pages, GBP, citations)
  • Build backlinks to grow domain authority
  • Apply AEO and GEO tactics to keep clients visible across AI search
  • Track performance and surface insights using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs
  • Work directly in HTML, CSS, WordPress, Webflow, and website builders like Elementor, Divi, Bricks etc to implement and publish content
  • Design social posts, one-pagers, and sales enablement materials

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in SEO, ideally B2B or agency
  • Proven weekly content production at scale
  • Strong keyword research and SEO strategy expertise
  • Technical SEO chops: site audits, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema, cannibalization fixes
  • Backlink building experience
  • AEO and GEO knowledge
  • Local SEO experience
  • Competitor analysis skills
  • Google Search Console, Google Rich Results Test and Google Analytics fluency
  • Light web development: WordPress, Webflow, basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • HubSpot knowledge (doesn't need to be advanced)
  • Design skills in Canva, Figma, or Adobe
  • Strong written English
