Job Description
Network Engineering Manager providing operational leadership for IT modernization at Air Force and Space Force bases. Overseeing design and implementation of network solutions globally while managing technical teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide operational leadership, oversight, and technical expertise for network design and implementation
- Project Planning – Support technical planning with various stakeholders
- Resource Management – Develop and allocate a team of technical network engineers
- Financial Management – Provide inputs to support financial estimates
- Execution - Coordinate with Government Points of Contact for project access and completion
- Stakeholder Communications – Ensure clear communication with project stakeholders
- Technical support – Provide input into network design and recommendations
- Conduct planning and provide recommendations on task workload
Requirements:
- 5+ years of related experience
- US Citizenship required
- Security Clearance Level: Secret
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience
- 10+ years' experience managing various aspects of enterprise IT projects
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual teaming environment
- Thorough understanding of Wired, Wireless, and general IT functions
- Strong commitment to a team environment and the ability to work collaboratively
- Strong coordination and organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Required Certification: Security+ CE or 8140 equivalent
