Job Description
Odoo Software Engineer developing finance and project-management customisations for Miratech, a global IT services and consulting company. Building integrations, data migrations, and testing pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Odoo customisations for finance and project-management systems, including a custom expense application
- Build and maintain integrations with Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho, and banking systems
- Migrate historical data using scripted, repeatable loads validated against source through dry runs and at cutover
- Build and maintain testing pipelines, including test and mock data
- Collaborate daily with the Odoo Functional Consultant on requirements and solution options
- Collaborate with the Project Manager on estimates, progress, and risks
- Keep technical documentation current
- Support the system post go-live
- Use AI coding tools in day-to-day development
- Support the finance automation programme
- Perform other duties consistent with the purpose of the role
Requirements:
- 3+ years of commercial Python development
- 2+ years building custom Odoo modules on recent Odoo versions
- Strong expertise in Odoo back-end development, including ORM, inheritance, security, reports, and scheduled actions
- Strong expertise in Odoo front-end development, including OWL and JavaScript
- Experience building custom user-facing Odoo applications
- Experience integrating Odoo with external systems using REST APIs and Odoo external APIs
- Experience implementing robust error-handling mechanisms
- Hands-on experience with data migration projects, including scripted and repeatable data loads, validation, and data quality assurance
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL, Git, Linux, Docker, and Odoo deployment and maintenance practices
- Strong testing discipline, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and test data management
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to deliver independently
- Professional proficiency in English and Ukrainian
