Job Description

Outside Software Account Representative growing Thryv’s SaaS platform for small businesses across Alabama. Managing existing accounts, prospecting new clients, and meeting sales quotas through remote work and local travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Increase Thryv’s penetration to the existing client base
  • Increase client engagement with existing software clients
  • Grow the SaaS client base through new sales and meet a predetermined sales quota
  • Call on existing clients to nurture and grow relationships
  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities
  • Present additional sales and extended-usage opportunities based on client needs
  • Secure new SaaS clients through self-generated and company-initiated prospecting
  • Execute defined client and prospect engagement cadences and other operational processes
  • Complete product and demo certifications, order entry requirements, and centralized intake forms
  • Participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training
  • Educate and guide prospects through the buyer’s journey
  • Partner with marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategy
  • Support sales of solution enhancements and new products

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of direct sales experience required, preferably in a SaaS role or company
  • 2+ years’ experience in an outbound sales full sales-cycle role required
  • Industry knowledge and ability to thoroughly understand the Thryv product suite
  • Exceptional written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence and adaptability
  • Ability to build relationships and manage expectations
  • Time-management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple competing priorities and schedules
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
  • Ability to conduct sales presentations while following established processes and procedures
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to learn new programs and systems
  • 50% driving requirement
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must live local to the city of the job posting, within a 1-hour commute
  • High-speed internet, acceptable office setting, and proper business attire required for remote work
