Job Description

Outside Software Account Representative growing Thryv’s SaaS client base and existing-client sales. Selling CRM, marketing, invoicing, messaging, and business-automation software to local businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Increase Thryv’s penetration of the existing client base
  • Increase engagement with existing software clients
  • Grow the SaaS client base through new sales
  • Contact assigned clients and present additional sales or extended-usage opportunities based on client needs
  • Identify and secure new SaaS clients through self-generated and company-initiated prospecting
  • Execute defined client and prospect engagement cadences, product and demo certifications, order-entry requirements, and centralized intake processes
  • Participate in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training
  • Educate and guide prospects through the buyer’s journey
  • Partner with marketing and technology departments on sales strategy, solution enhancements, and new product releases
  • Build and nurture a prospect pipeline and close deals
  • Conduct more than 50% of work outside the home office

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of direct sales experience required, preferably in a SaaS role or company
  • 2+ years’ experience in an outbound sales (full sales cycle) role required
  • Industry knowledge and ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite
  • Exceptional written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong emotional intelligence and adaptability
  • Ability to build relationships and manage expectations
  • Time and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple competing priorities and schedules
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment and follow established processes and procedures
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to learn new programs and systems
  • 50% driving requirement
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must live local to Charlotte, NC (within a 1-hour commute)
  • High-speed internet, acceptable office setting, and proper business attire required for remote work
