Job Description
Packaging Procurement Leader for Solenis optimizing the packaging category across Europe. Leading strategic sourcing initiatives and building partnerships with suppliers while mentoring a team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and optimize packaging category for region Europe
- Develop and implement comprehensive regional category strategy for packaging
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers
- Lead regional sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, RFQs, and bid analysis
- Deliver measurable cost savings through strategic sourcing and process improvements
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of regional category buyers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable field (e.g. Packaging Engineering, Supply Chain, Business)
- 8+ years of procurement/sourcing experience
- At least 5 years in global or regional category leadership roles
- Experience in the chemicals, packaging, or related industries
- Proven success in strategic sourcing, supplier development, and complex negotiations.
