Job Description
Part-Time Nurse Practitioner providing evidence-based GI care via telehealth. Join our virtual care team at Cylinder for flexible, mission-driven work.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual patient assessments (history, symptoms, guided physical exam where appropriate)
- Diagnose and manage GI-related conditions in alignment with clinical protocols
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests within scope of practice
- Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians and care team
- Escalate complex or high-risk cases to supervising physician as needed
- Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic health record
- Participate in case reviews, chart audits, and team meetings
Requirements:
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner License in the United States
- Experience managing patients with chronic conditions or in a GI specialty
- Ability to practice independently within scope, while collaborating effectively with supervising physician and care team
- Prior telehealth experience (preferred)
- Multistate licensure (preferred)
- Experience with motivational interviewing or patient-centered counseling approaches (preferred)
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish strongly preferred)
