Job Description
Patient Service Specialist supporting UVM Medical Center’s remote Vermont primary care psychiatry operations. Providing administrative support and reliable customer service to patients, families, and care teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support in the clinic setting to patients and families
- Support members of the care team and administrative leaders
- Ensure the smooth operation of the medical office
- Contribute to a high-quality, caring, consistent, and reliable patient experience
- Deliver customer service to patients and visitors
Requirements:
- H.S. diploma or equivalent required
- Proven customer service experience required
- Coursework in administrative or medical sciences preferred
- Experience in a clinical and/or administrative setting preferred
- Ability to provide administrative support to patients and families, care team members, and administrative leaders
- Ability to deliver caring, consistent, and reliable customer service
