Job Description
Payment reimbursement analyst processing vendor invoices and reimbursement workflows for SCRI’s community-based oncology clinical research programs. Reconciling claims, contracts, budgets, and coverage analyses.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate contracting for SCRI vendors utilized by SCRI-managed sites
- Review, reconcile, and process SCRI vendor invoices for accurate and timely payment
- Review HCFA/UB vendor claim forms for payment
- Work with high-volume vendors to transition to data file submission and establish an appropriate cadence
- Review and understand vendor contracts to ensure accurate invoice payment and address vendor payment expectations
- Review and understand coverage analysis documents to determine Research versus Standard of Care and reimbursement impact
- Serve as a liaison between vendors, internal departments, and sponsors to resolve billing discrepancies
- Support reimbursement workflows and maintain financial integrity across the vendor payment lifecycle
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Experience may be substituted for education
- Minimum 3 years' professional expertise interpreting and analyzing complex contractual language and budgets
- Advanced research and analytical techniques for financial data evaluation
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel at intermediate to advanced level
- Knowledge of other financial systems
- Ability to interpret medical terminology, drug names, and CPT codes
- Ability to review and understand vendor contracts and coverage analysis documents
- Must be based in the United States
- Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available
