Job Description
Personal Financial Counselor providing financial services to military personnel at installations. Offering counseling, workshops, and informational materials regarding financial planning and management.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal financial counseling services to military service members and their families
- Develop and make available informational financial materials
- Coordinate and provide Personal Financial Management classes/workshops
- Utilize virtual counseling and electronic modes of communication
- Participate in regular training and supervision
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of financial counseling experience
- Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English
- Be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation
- Must have one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)
