Job Description
Careers Counsellor responsible for high-quality careers education and guidance at King's InterHigh. Engaging with students and families to navigate further study, training, and employment opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deliver, and evaluate a careers curriculum across all key stages
- Provide impartial guidance on post-16 and post-18 pathways
- Work with teaching and pastoral teams to ensure high-quality careers information and guidance
- Organise engagement opportunities with employers, alumni, universities, and guest speakers
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of the careers programme
Requirements:
- Appropriate Level 6+ Careers Guidance qualification
- Degree-level qualification minimum
- Track record of delivering excellent student outcomes
- Knowledge of the university application process, apprenticeships, and other post-16/18 options
- Experience of working with students and families from diverse backgrounds
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
