Job Description
Pharmacy Technician handling inbound patient calls for Accredo Specialty Pharmacy, based in Indiana, Florida, or Ohio. Assisting in medication management for patients with chronic diseases.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently triage incoming calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals, ensuring each inquiry is prioritized and directed to the appropriate resource.
- Assess and process inbound calls for new verbal prescriptions and clarifications on existing orders, determining urgency and appropriate next steps.
- Update and reconcile patient charts with new demographic and health information gathered during triage, supporting accurate and timely patient care.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must reside in Indiana, Florida or Ohio.
- Customer Service and phone experience, a plus
- Valid Pharmacy Technician License in Indiana, Florida or Ohio.
- Tech Savvy- Strong computer / data entry
- High speed internet with wired ethernet connection.
