Job Description
Pharmacy Technician supporting patients and providers by managing prescription intake and clarification. Working remotely while answering calls and documenting prescriptions accurately at Express Scripts.
Responsibilities:
- Support patients and providers by managing prescription intake and clarification
- Answer inbound calls from physician offices
- Take and document verbal prescriptions
- Accurately enter prescription data into pharmacy systems
- Respond to physician and patient inquiries
- Clarify prescription details (dosage, quantity, directions)
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or NHA)
- Active Tennessee Pharmacy Technician License
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
- Reliable wired internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps)
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, internet, and email use
- Previous call center experience preferred
- Dedicated, quiet home workspace
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math proficiency
