Job Description
Principal Application Architect defining application architectures for healthcare initiatives at Gainwell. Collaborating across projects to ensure quality and compliance with state and federal requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Define the end-to-end application and solution architectures necessary to support customer initiatives and programs.
- Identify and address architecturally significant changes.
- Complete architecture impact assessments.
- Prepare technical documentation and present solutions to the Account Architecture Review Board (ARB).
- Assign architecture resources across a portfolio of projects and provide mentorship to junior staff.
Requirements:
- Ten or more years of application architecture and/or product development experience.
- Experience with Architecture framework methodologies such as TOGAF.
- Software systems, applications, and supporting infrastructure.
- Application design principles and product configurations.
- Programming languages, databases, tooling, operating systems, infrastructure, and cloud technologies.
- Software development lifecycles and client requirements.
- Leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel.
- Good communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel, application development personnel and management.
