Job Description
Principal Engineer leading architectural evolution at Grupo Boticário's beauty-focused fintech products. Collaborating across teams to reduce complexity and improve system architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural evolution considering the current system landscape and pre-existing decisions
- Serve as a technical reference for system design, abstraction, and scalability
- Diagnose and address structural issues related to coupling, dependencies, and system evolution
- Drive the standardization of architectural approaches and engineering best practices
- Work closely with technical and product leadership to ensure alignment between technology and business
- Influence multiple teams and directorates, promoting smoother technical decision-making
- Develop other engineers and specialists, raising the organization’s technical maturity
- Act hands-on in critical scenarios, supporting decisions and stabilization when necessary
Requirements:
- ***Must-have***
- Proven experience in senior technical leadership positions (Staff, Principal, or equivalent)
- Strong mastery of software architecture and system design
- Experience in environments with multiple systems and a high degree of coupling
- Ability to influence technical decisions across teams
- Strong execution orientation, with a track record of delivery in complex contexts
- Professional maturity, open to feedback and collaborative in approach
