Job Description
Principal Engineer direcionando a evolução da plataforma de APIs, integração e IA da Sensedia. Liderando arquitetura escalável, resiliente e segura em ambiente cloud multi-tenant.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the technological evolution of Sensedia’s product platform
- Define the future vision for products and technology transformation initiatives
- Map the current architecture and lead the transition to the target architecture
- Define the integration of generative and agentic AI into product architecture
- Create guidelines, reference architectures, and proofs of concept for LLMs, agents, and MCP
- Contribute to the architecture of agent-based software development, including orchestration, roles, and guardrails
- Lead prototypes, proofs of concept, and pilots for significant technical decisions
- Partner with Product Managers on strategic discovery and the evaluation of feasibility, complexity, and technology
- Lead the architecture guild and turn common topics into decisions and standards
- Serve as a reference for Staff Engineers and support the development and succession of the senior technical career path
- Develop technical recommendations and negotiate trade-offs among technology, business, and compliance
- Support high-risk decisions by mitigating risks related to architecture, compliance, resilience, scalability, and operational efficiency
- Represent product technology internally and externally to engineers, C-level executives, internal teams, customers, and analysts
- Deliver significant technical work, including coding, proofs of concept, code reviews, and troubleshooting
- Support squads with technically complex challenges
- Incorporate scalability, resilience, availability, SLOs, application and container security, and costs into architectural design
Requirements:
- Extensive, proven technical career spanning multiple products or domains
- Track record of architectural decisions that impacted an entire organization and stood the test of time
- Hands-on experience with generative and agentic AI applied to product architecture, including systems with LLMs, agents, and platforms exposed to agents (MCP, tool use)
- Experience with agent orchestration in day-to-day software development
- Experience leading architects or senior technical professionals through influence and example, without formal authority
- Track record of influencing decisions without formal authority, earning the trust of engineers, leadership, and C-level executives
- Experience with distributed and multi-tenant cloud architectures at scale
- Product mindset, connecting architectural decisions to business and customer objectives
- Communication and negotiation skills with technical and executive audiences, supported by structured analysis
- Advanced English proficiency for technical and market research, as well as conversations with customers and suppliers
- Experience with the JVM ecosystem, Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus/GraalVM, Go, Python, and Node/TypeScript
- Knowledge of multi-tenant architectures, control plane/data plane, event-driven systems, Kafka, and SNS/SQS
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, GitOps, EKS, ArgoCD, Terraform, and OpenTelemetry
- Knowledge of agentic AI, AI Gateway, and MCP runtime
- Preferred: experience with API Management, Open Finance, and iPaaS; OAuth/OIDC/mTLS, FAPI, Open Finance/Open Insurance, JWS, DCR, and PAR; Spanish; LGPD, PCI, and ISO 27001; people management experience
