Job Description
AI Principal Product Manager building a zero-to-one AI wedding product at The Knot Worldwide. Owning strategy, trustworthy AI, market positioning, measurement, and launch.
Responsibilities:
- Define and build a brand-new AI product in the wedding space from zero to one
- Own the product from strategy through shipped product, including prototypes, early user cohorts, iteration loops, and launch
- Define the roadmap and be accountable for product outcomes
- Own the market case, product positioning, category narrative, distribution, and long-term business potential
- Define trustworthy AI behavior, including when it guides, asks, acts, and keeps couples in control
- Run rapid build-measure-learn cycles and test work with users and experts
- Define success metrics, instrument the product, and manage unit economics and cost to serve
- Turn the vendor graph, couple graph, reviews, and planning workflows into product advantages
- Advise product, engineering, design, marketing, and data science leadership on company-level AI direction
Requirements:
- 8+ years of product management experience in consumer products at scale
- Recent, hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered products to real users
- Zero-to-one track record, including taking at least one product from ambiguous concept to launch and measurement
- Working fluency with prompting, evaluation frameworks, agentic patterns, memory, and tool use
- Ability to participate in technical design conversations with ML/AI engineers
- Experience managing AI production costs, including model, context, and caching tradeoffs against a real budget
- Commercial and category instincts, including positioning, distribution, and willingness to pay
- Strong point of view on AI autonomy and keeping users in control
- Founder instincts and ability to prototype and ship to learn
