Job Description

Product Analyst joining the Motors team at OLX, transforming data into actionable insights for product development across Europe. Collaborate closely with Product Managers in a remote role based in Portugal.

Responsibilities:

  • Pair up with the Product Managers to set metrics that describe product success
  • Create dashboards to monitor the performance of these metrics and success
  • Decipher users' behavior and needs, and communicate these insights to the product pack
  • Transform data from various sources into clear insights to support informed decision-making around the product roadmap
  • Proactively follow product changes and provide data-driven insights on the feature releases
  • Define hypotheses based on your data, set up and conduct A/B tests
  • Work closely with engineers to make sure we collect proper data that supports decision-making

Requirements:

  • At least, 2 years of analytical experience in a digital environment (preferably but not necessarily in web or mobile analytics)
  • You are a keen explorer and love turning data into a story or an insight that points to the "why" behind the "what is happening"
  • Have experience setting metrics, finding baselines for them, and communicating them within and outside of the team
  • You are familiar with data visualization tools and concepts (previous experience with Tableau appreciated)
  • SQL is your second language (we welcome PL-SQL, MS-SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or any other dialect)
  • You are familiar with the concept of experimentation
  • You are a solid team player with the ability to independently assess and prioritize your tasks
  • You are fluent in English and have excellent communication skills
  • You must be based in Portugal
