Job Description

Product Manager at Gringo & Zapay focusing on growth and optimizing financial products. Collaborating with teams to enhance user experience and streamline processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Scale Roadmap Management: Define and prioritize the backlog focused on growth, conversion and retention for the portfolio of financial and assistance products.
  • Partnership Management (Partnership PM): Work directly with external partners to ensure the best technical and commercial offering for users.
  • Funnel Optimization: Deeply analyze hiring/acquisition funnels, identify frictions and implement continuous improvements via A/B testing.
  • Ecosystem Integration: Orchestrate the delivery of these services within the Gringo, Zapay and Sem Parar apps, ensuring a unified and seamless brand experience.
  • Business & P&L Insight: Monitor product financial health metrics (take rate, CAC, delinquency, churn) and report results to executive leadership.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Influence engineering, design, legal, compliance and operations teams to enable complex, regulated products.
  • Actively manage area demands, being responsible for planning, execution and monitoring the impact of deliveries.
  • Participate in decision-making, contributing analyses, data and critical perspective.
  • Collaborate with other areas and people, sharing information, learnings and context.
  • Constantly seek simpler, more efficient and sustainable ways to solve problems.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the team's and business's processes, practices and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Solid Experience: Preferable background as a Product Manager in Credit (Lending), Insurtech or Fintech products.
  • Experience with Third Parties: Prior experience integrating products via partner APIs and managing technical/commercial SLAs.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency with data tools (SQL, Looker, Tableau or Mixpanel) to support decisions and prioritization using frameworks such as RICE or MoSCoW.
  • Growth Focus: Experience with cross-selling and up-selling tactics in large-scale user bases.
  • Executive Communication: Ability to articulate complex visions simply to different stakeholders, from technical teams to C-level.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with BACEN and SUSEP regulations is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ownership and responsibility for deliverables.
  • Openness to feedback and continuous learning.
  • Not mandatory but a plus: Experience in dynamic, collaborative environments.
  • Experience making decisions with autonomy and accountability.
