Job Description

AbbVie Product Specialist driving hematology brand strategy, territory sales, and healthcare-provider relationships in Romania. Maximizing access and performance through scientific expertise and customer-focused field execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute brand strategies and field tactics
  • Manage sales performance, allocated territory, and targeted accounts
  • Build strong customer relationships and address customer needs
  • Maximize short- and long-term sales performance while placing the patient at the center
  • Track KPIs, financial goals, marketing objectives, and other performance targets
  • Create pre-call plans using SMART goals and conduct post-call assessments
  • Manage objections and obtain clear calls to action to close sales calls
  • Build trusting customer relationships and develop win-win agreements
  • Develop and execute call plans to optimize customer reach, frequency, access, and sales opportunities
  • Monitor customer needs, territorial market landscape, competitors, market segments, accounts, products, clinical expertise, and sales
  • Share market information with field, brand, and sales teams and the sales manager
  • Differentiate AbbVie's value proposition with designated healthcare providers
  • Develop and retain disease experts and speakers to maximize brand performance
  • Operate within AbbVie's code of business conduct, policies, applicable laws, and regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, pharmacy, business-related fields, or equivalent
  • Proven successful sales experience and solid presentation skills
  • High level of personal initiative and resilience
  • Capacity to adapt to new business models
  • In-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge
  • Strong understanding of business and competent use of business tools
  • Strategic and critical thinking capabilities
  • At least 1 year of previous experience in hematology and/or oncology preferred for prioritization
  • Ability to proactively identify customer style/behavior and adapt the sales approach
  • Ability to work efficiently in a matrix environment
  • Preferably successful proven sales performance experience in hematology
  • Preferable experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry, such as physician/account-based sales, training, managed healthcare, or marketing
  • Knowledge of spoken and written English
