Job Description
Project Analyst driving strategic IT transformation initiatives at AAA Life Insurance. Collaborating with teams to ensure financial transparency and delivery insight across IT projects.
Responsibilities:
- Track and report on IT project performance, including actual vs spend, forecasted costs, delivery milestones, and KPI progress
- Monitor financial performance across IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with budgets, forecasts, and expected value realization
- Consolidate updates from Transformation Office, Initiative Leads (including Product Owners and Scrum Masters), Finance and COE Managers into executive-ready reporting
- Identify, analyze, and escalate delivery risks, dependencies, and performance gaps
- Prepare standardized metrics reports and dashboards for Steering Committee (SteerCo), Technology Leadership, and executive stakeholders to support governance and decision-making
- Partner with Finance to validate financial data, including capital vs. expense spend, labor, and vendor costs
- Ensure consistency and integrity of reporting across the IT portfolio, including adherence to PMO standards and governance frameworks
- Support reporting across Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
- Participate in recurring forums (e.g., IT Transformation stand-ups, finance reviews) to surface insights and ensure alignment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3 –5 years of experience in IT project reporting, PMO, financial analysis, or technology program support
- 2-5 years of experience supporting IT projects or transformation initiatives in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments
- 3-5 years of proficiency in Microsoft Office
- 3-5 years of experience with project and portfolio management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Clarity) preferred
- 3-5 years of experience tracking IT financials, including resource costs, vendor spend, and infrastructure investments
