Job Description
Project Manager leading Phase I–IV clinical trials for global CRO Worldwide Clinical Trials. Coordinating teams, resources, deliverables, and regulatory-compliant execution.
Responsibilities:
- Manage one or more allocated Phase I through IV clinical trials with local, regional, or global scope
- Coordinate and manage clinical trials from start-up through closeout
- Direct the technical, financial, and operational aspects of projects
- Identify and evaluate project requirements, interpret complex data, and develop contingency plans and rescue strategies
- Ensure project deliverables meet customer time, quality, cost, and contract expectations
- Lead core project team members and facilitate leadership of extended or complete project teams
- Lead internal and external cross-unit coordination, including subcontractors
- Define and manage project resource needs with functional heads and establish contingency plans
- Design, implement, track, and revise project plans
- Promote effective teamwork and resolve conflicts
- Ensure appropriate communication with Project Management leadership
Requirements:
- University/college degree (life science preferred) or certification in a related allied health profession from an appropriately accredited institution, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of clinical pharmaceutical industry experience, including clinical project management tasks
- Alternatively, more than five (5) years of supervisory experience in a health care setting and four (4) years of clinical research experience in the pharmaceutical or CRO industries, or proven relevant clinical development experience and skills
- Experience managing projects in a multi-office environment
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and utilize resources effectively
- Ability to inspire teamwork and motivate staff within a matrix system
- Ability to lead by example and encourage team members to seek solutions
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving skills
- Thorough knowledge of project management processes
- Thorough knowledge of ICH Guidelines and GCP, including international regulatory requirements
- Available for domestic and international travel, including overnight stays
- Valid current passport required
- Ability to drive and have a valid driver’s license
- Fluent in local office language and English, written and verbal
- Broad knowledge of drug development processes and client needs
