Job Description
Technical Project Manager leading IT infrastructure deployments and distributed technology projects. Driving scope, schedules, resources, risks, and high-performing teams for Jolera’s global managed-services clients.
Responsibilities:
- Transform high-level scope requirements into actionable, innovative project plans.
- Steer the project ship through its entire lifecycle, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Maintain control of scope, schedule, and budget.
- Proactively identify potential issues and risks and address them before they become blockers.
- Manage project dependencies and navigate the critical path.
- Deploy resources strategically, ensuring effective utilization.
- Craft updates and presentations for team members and stakeholders.
- Drive, mentor, and inspire the team.
- Embrace additional responsibilities and contribute to tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify resource requirements, allocate resources efficiently, and optimize resource utilization.
- Motivate and influence teams to succeed in their roles.
- Lead a high-performing team, fostering excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Solid educational background in IT or mountains of relevant experience.
- At least 5 years in the trenches, managing IT infrastructure projects with tenacity and creative flair.
- A strong understanding of what drives healthy, efficient teams.
- Holder of a PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
- Skilled in MS Office, MS Project, or similar tools.
- Proven experience in managing sprawling, distributed IT deployments across various terrains (physical and digital).
- A maestro of virtualization and networking technologies.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex project scopes into victorious project outcomes.
- Expert at navigating the complexities of multinational and multi-disciplinary environments.
