Job Description

Project Manager overseeing security, network, and communications system deployments for distributed enterprises. Coordinating customers, installers, permits, schedules, and internal resources from onboarding through activation.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure successful onboarding of new customers and provide pod leadership for ongoing deployment success
  • Take 100% responsibility for delivery and activation of sold services after transition from sales
  • Coordinate internal and external resources for deployments involving Access Control, Intrusion, CCTV, Fire alarm, Network, VOIP, and Audio systems
  • Oversee day-to-day installation activity and act as liaison between customers and company operations
  • Communicate and document assigned project status on a committed schedule
  • Plan overall deployment and implementation, including detailed and phased deployment plans, target-date forecasts, and site-level task identification
  • Communicate with customer representatives about project schedules and progress
  • Attend customer and internal meetings and conference calls
  • Identify inefficiencies and create process improvements
  • Coordinate labor, materials, and permits
  • Drive schedules to meet customer expectations and internal goals
  • Coordinate internal resources and communicate their involvement in implementation
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Resolve project obstacles resourcefully and seek assistance when needed
  • Provide customer training as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing or coordinating projects in an electronic security or telecom-related industry
  • Associate college degree preferred
  • Experience utilizing telecom and networking terminology
  • Medium to Advanced Smartsheet expertise
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office software tools
  • Formal project management education and certification are a plus but not required
