Job Description
PMHNP providing autonomous outpatient psychiatric care via telehealth for BlueSky Telepsych. Conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, prescribing medications, and collaborating virtually with therapists.
Responsibilities:
- Provide effective individual psychiatric care via telehealth in an outpatient setting.
- Provide direct patient care, conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and prescribe medications as necessary.
- Ensure that all patient care is delivered in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Practice autonomously in the best interest of the patient without corporate administrative interference.
- Collaborate with therapists and participate in team matching during onboarding.
- Meet regularly with collaborating therapists, at least monthly, to discuss patient cases or clinical topics.
- Perform clinical work from home on clinician-chosen days and hours.
- Attend virtual clinical team meetings.
- Attend at least one clinical conference per week during the first 90 days, then one monthly.
Requirements:
- Must have a PMHNP license and open to licensing in alternative states.
- 1+ years of experience as a PMHNP required
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of healthcare professionals.
- Strong computer and technology skills
- Strong clinical background in psychiatry
- Strong background in the diagnosis of psychiatric disorders and psychopharmacological treatments and familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
