Job Description

Purchasing & Procurement Specialist at APEI managing procurement workflows and vendor relationships. Key member of the Strategic Sourcing team assisting with procure-to-pay system implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages purchase order, requisition, and contract workflows
  • Coordinates with finance, legal, and operational teams to manage vendor relationships
  • Assists with implementation of a procure-to-pay system
  • Develops purchasing policy, conducts RFPs/bids/negotiations and purchase orders reviews
  • Reports to the Director of Procurement

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in procurement related roles
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning software preferred
  • Excellent and oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Accounting, Finance or a similar field from an accredited institution preferred
