Job Description
Purchasing & Procurement Specialist at APEI managing procurement workflows and vendor relationships. Key member of the Strategic Sourcing team assisting with procure-to-pay system implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Manages purchase order, requisition, and contract workflows
- Coordinates with finance, legal, and operational teams to manage vendor relationships
- Assists with implementation of a procure-to-pay system
- Develops purchasing policy, conducts RFPs/bids/negotiations and purchase orders reviews
- Reports to the Director of Procurement
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in procurement related roles
- Experience with enterprise resource planning software preferred
- Excellent and oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Accounting, Finance or a similar field from an accredited institution preferred
