Job Description
Purchasing Manager overseeing procurement processes for Lagoon Park's operational supplies and services. Sourcing vendors and ensuring cost-effective practices in purchasing management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage purchasing and procurement processes for operational supplies, equipment, merchandise, and services
- Source and negotiate with vendors to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with suppliers and evaluate vendor performance
- Coordinate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs and maintain adequate inventory levels
- Monitor purchasing budgets and ensure cost-effective procurement practices
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier contracts, and reports
Requirements:
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
- Experience with procurement or inventory management systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment
