Job Description
Quality Engineer participating in all stages of software projects at Vivo. Ensuring client requirements are met and leading QA initiatives across teams.
Responsibilities:
- You will develop and maintain the test strategy (manual and automated), covering all levels of software testing (unit, component, integration, end-to-end);
- You will be responsible for developing the test plan and executing test cases for an entire project across the platforms it traverses and its multiple functionalities;
- You will ensure test coverage by working together with project and development teams to prioritize test execution and report progress and results;
- You will drive QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices;
- You will promote improvement initiatives within the area and generate quality metrics to demonstrate the impact of those improvements;
- You will also be responsible for promoting a quality culture throughout the organization;
- You will interact and collaborate with other development teams within the Telefônica group in Brazil and worldwide.
Requirements:
- A degree in STEM or technology fields such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or related areas is a plus;
- Advanced knowledge of B2C Mobile business flows and customer service systems;
- Experience with functional testing, both manual and automated;
- Experience creating and executing test plans in tools such as ALM Octane and Jira;
- Experience testing web and mobile applications;
- Advanced knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum);
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint);
- Desirable experience with DevOps and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes;
- Desirable experience testing AI agents and LLM models;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with peers;
- Resilience and willingness to learn, unlearn and relearn constantly;
- Effective communication with users, technical teams, and managers to gather requirements, plan tests, and report results;
