Job Description
Quality Assurance Project Specialist proofreading market research and audit reports for high-value clients. Assisting QA Supervisor with offshore editing team management and quality control.
Responsibilities:
- Proofread market research and audit reports for grammar, syntax, completeness, and compliance with client expectations.
- Assist the QA Supervisor in managing offshore editor workloads, dispatching assignments, tracking metrics, and approving invoices and timesheets.
- Investigate quality issues, working directly with independent contractors, auditors, and internal teams to resolve issues.
- Identify opportunities to streamline QA processes and improve report quality and client satisfaction.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned to support the evolving needs of the QA department and client programs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
- Bilingual (English and French) is useful but not required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple editing projects simultaneously.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-service mindset.
- Comfortable delivering results in a busy environment and as an integral part of a cross-functional team.
- Comfort in Microsoft Excel and other Office software.
- Strong desire to learn, adapt, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated reliability in meeting deadlines.
