Job Description
Contract React Native Developer at LG Electronics responsible for developing an AI-powered B2B SaaS product. Collaborating closely with back-end engineers and an AI/ML lead in a small founding team.
Responsibilities:
- Build and own the React Native (Expo) front-end across iOS and Android from early-stage through pilot launch
- Implement AI-driven conversational UI flows, onboarding experiences, and data-rich dashboards
- Integrate with a Node.js/Supabase back-end via REST and real-time subscriptions
- Collaborate with design to translate Figma prototypes into polished, performant mobile screens
- Instrument product analytics and contribute to a culture of fast, data-informed iteration
- Participate in lightweight code review and maintain clean, well-structured component libraries
Requirements:
- Deep, hands-on experience with React Native and Expo — you've shipped Expo-managed workflow apps to the App Store and Google Play
- Strong command of TypeScript, React hooks, and state management (Zustand, Jotai, or similar)
- You've built production UIs that consume LLM APIs — you understand streaming, token latency, error handling, and how to design interactions that don't fall apart when the AI is slow or wrong
- Comfort working across the stack — you can read Supabase queries, understand API contracts, and debug end-to-end without hand-holding
- AI-accelerated workflow — you actively use tools like Cursor or GitHub Copilot and can demonstrate meaningfully faster output because of it
