Job Description

Regional Business Director providing leadership for oncology product sales team. Developing strategies and training to achieve business objectives in the fight against cancer.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction of field sales representatives to achieve Karyopharm objectives
  • Develop field sales plans and lead a regional team of field sales representatives
  • Allocate total regional sales budget and control expenses accordingly
  • Coordinate with Market Access and Medical Affairs functions at regional level
  • Teach, train, and coach sales professionals regarding product and disease state knowledge
  • Foster relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and industry contacts
  • Oversee compliance from field sales team on all company policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, required
  • 8+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical field sales management experience at a regional level preferred
  • Significant experience within oncology or rare disease, including product launch(es)
  • Solid knowledge of retail, hospital, and managed care environments
