Job Description
Regional Financial Controller at Convatec overseeing financial governance and compliance across Europe. Driving transformation initiatives and ensuring robust control processes in high-value business units.
Responsibilities:
- Lead & deliver required changes to financial processes
- Provide expert IFRS and local GAAP accounting policy insights
- Partner with our Convatec Business Services centres (CBS) to provide financial insights
- Partner with the Financial Control team and Global Process Owners to ensure the appropriateness and compliance
- Provide expert support to stakeholders on audit requirements
- Ensure activities across finance teams are aligned to the finance operating model
- Be an advocate and trusted partner of the CBS
- Overall responsibility for financial reporting and compliance for allocated region
- Provide leadership in transformation initiatives
- Lead and develop a high-performing financial controller team
Requirements:
- University level degree in Finance or similar business subject
- 15+ years’ experience in working in a finance environment with preference in a multi-site global company
- Qualified chartered accountant or similar
