Job Description
Student Research Assistant supporting National University research on women of color Marriage and Family Therapists. Assisting with qualitative data collection, coding, documentation, and scholarly materials.
Responsibilities:
- Support a faculty-led research project examining the lived experiences of women of color Marriage and Family Therapists
- Assist with literature reviews and organization of scholarly sources
- Support participant recruitment, screening, and interview scheduling
- Assist with transcription, de-identification, and secure data organization
- Support qualitative data coding and identification of emerging themes
- Maintain research logs, documentation, and project materials
- Participate in research team meetings and contribute to project activities
- Assist with research summaries, presentations, and scholarly materials
- Maintain confidentiality and follow IRB, research ethics, data-security, and University requirements
- Complete required research and confidentiality training
- Perform other research-related duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator
Requirements:
- Must be a student enrolled and attending courses
- Undergraduate and graduate students in any school or program eligible
- Full-time or part-time students eligible
- Complete required research and confidentiality training
- Maintain confidentiality and follow IRB, research ethics, data-security, and University requirements
- Ability to assist with literature reviews and organization of scholarly sources
- Ability to support participant recruitment, screening, and interview scheduling
- Ability to assist with transcription, de-identification, and secure data organization
- Ability to support qualitative data coding and identification of emerging themes
