Job Description
Research Scientist conducting frontier AI forecasting and epistemics research at FutureSearch. Building evaluations and productionizing research for product and customer deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct breakthrough research on the frontier of AI forecasting, research, and epistemics
- Research the future of AI
- Work quickly and exercise excellent judgment about valuable research
- Connect research to product and customer deliverables
- Communicate continuously with the team
- Run experiments and productionize research results
Requirements:
- Background in math, physics, CS, or an equivalent quantitative field
- Currently studying modern AI systems and deeply curious about the future of AI
- Comfortable taking ambiguous open problems and making concrete progress quickly
- Strong proficiency with coding agents for running experiments and productionizing results
- Strongest candidates have experience researching LLM agents
- Strongest candidates have experience studying epistemics: search, forecasting, judgment, and establishing truth of claims
- Strongest candidates have experience creating benchmarks, datasets, and/or tasks to evaluate AI systems
