Job Description
Risk, Insights, Strategy and Controls Manager focusing on effective risk management and internal controls development at CIBC. Collaborates with teams to analyze risk data and improve processes.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with first line of defense teams to enable effective risk management
- Assist with the development and enhancement of internal controls
- Source and evaluate data to drive a more objective approach to risk measurement and mitigation
- Coordinate incident management across four lines of business
- Participate in special projects as needed
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience in compliance, operational risk, or audit
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong interpersonal, written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to articulate complex issues concisely and communicate effectively with senior leadership
- Solid relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to execute tasks under aggressive targets and effectively manage to change in plan
- Strong initiative, energy and confidence completing projects with limited supervision
