Job Description
Enterprise sales leader launching Meter’s managed networking business in Canada. Building pipeline, closing initial customers, and developing channel partnerships from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
- Build Meter’s enterprise sales territory in Canada from zero
- Source and close Meter’s first Canadian enterprise customers across eligible verticals
- Build Canadian pipeline by selecting priority accounts, verticals and cities and developing repeatable outreach processes
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets and contribute to company revenue growth
- Recruit, enable and co-sell with Canadian channel partners
- Land reference customers and develop scalable partner relationships
- Share market insights with Sales leadership, Marketing and Product to shape the Canadian ICP, positioning and go-to-market playbook
- Ensure smooth customer handoffs to Deployment Operations, Product and Customer Success
- Identify and qualify Canadian accounts
- Lead discovery calls with technical and business stakeholders
- Deliver live or virtual product demonstrations
- Participate in partner events, local meetups and customer visits
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering on complex deployment scoping
- Maintain Salesforce hygiene and pipeline discipline, including forecast accuracy above 90%
- Coordinate with the US team on deals and sales practices
Requirements:
- Experience selling complex technical products to IT buyers in Canada, directly and through the channel, ideally in networking infrastructure
- Experience selling hardware, infrastructure, cloud or security, or ability to quickly learn an esoteric technical space
- Knowledge of the Canadian market and relationships with Canadian IT leaders, VARs and MSPs
- Track record of exceeding ambitious sales targets and ranking among top representatives or earning President’s Club trips
- Consistent pipeline generation using phone outreach, door-to-door prospecting and tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach and Gong
- Experience opening a territory or launching a new market, or willingness to do so
- Ability to work independently without local teammates and with limited proximity to headquarters
